Reverse description Nike standing left, her wings outstretched, holding a wreath in her extended right hand and a stylis (naval standard) in her left hand. The legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs to the right of the figure in the field. In the left field, a star symbol appears above the mint signature ΣΙ (denoting Sinope), with control monograms placed above the left wing and below the right wing respectively. The composition follows the canonical Alexandrine stater reverse type established under Alexander III.
