Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing right, depicted in fine Hellenistic style with long flowing hair cascading beneath the helmet. The goddess wears a Corinthian helmet adorned with a prominent crest and decorated with a coiled serpent on the bowl. The facial features are rendered with refined idealized realism characteristic of late 4th-century Macedonian coinage. The field is plain, with no legend on this side.

Reverse description Nike, the winged goddess of victory, stands facing left in three-quarter view, clad in a flowing chiton with large spread wings rising behind her. She holds a wreath extended in her outstretched left hand and grasps a stylis (naval standard) in her right. A small stylized flower or symbol appears in the lower left field. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs vertically along the right field, identifying the coin as issued in the name of Alexander.
