Reverse description Nike, the winged goddess of Victory, standing three-quarters to the left, her large, elaborately feathered wings spread wide behind her. She is depicted in flowing drapery and holds a wreath extended forward in her right hand, while her left hand rests at her side. To the left of the figure, a ship's stern (aphlaston) is visible, serving as a mint control symbol. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs vertically along the right field, identifying the coin as issued in the name of Alexander. Additional control marks appear in the field to the right of the legend, consistent with the Abydos mint series as catalogued under Price 1574.
