| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing right, wearing a Corinthian helmet adorned with a prominent crest and decorated with a coiled serpent on the bowl. The goddess's facial features are rendered in the refined Hellenistic style, with flowing locks of hair visible beneath the helmet's cheek-guards. The flan displays the characteristic irregular fabric of a hammered Macedonian-type stater, with the effigy occupying the full field without inscription. |

| Reverse description | Nike standing facing left in three-quarter view, her wings spread, clad in a flowing chiton with elaborate drapery folds rendered in high relief. She holds a naval standard (stylis) in her right hand and a wreath in her left, crowning an unseen victor. The ethnic legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, with the civic monogram ΣΙ (for Sinope) and additional control marks — including a star and a crouching figure — visible in the lower and left fields. The composition closely follows the Alexandrine stater type adapted for posthumous issues at Sinope. |
