Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of King Eupator facing right, rendered in high relief with flowing hair and beard in the Hellenistic tradition. The effigy displays characteristically elaborate coiffure with long wavy locks falling behind the neck, and a diadem securing the hair. The portrait is framed by a beaded border, with the royal titulary legend ΒΑCΙΛΕΩC ΕΥΠΑΤΟΡΟC arranged in a circular field around the bust. The engraving reflects the local Bosporan workshop style, blending Greek artistic conventions with regional characteristics.
