Reverse description A deeply recessed quadripartite incuse square dominates the reverse, divided into four rectangular compartments by raised ridges meeting at the center, consistent with the archaic punch technique employed by early Greek mints of the northern Aegean region. The surface of the incuse compartments is rough and uneven, characteristic of the period's striking method. No inscriptions or subsidiary devices are present.
