| Obverse description | Herakles depicted nude, kneeling to right, with a lion skin draped over his head and shoulders. Both hands are raised as he strains to string his bow, the weapon held horizontally before him. The figure is rendered in archaic Greek style with attention to musculature. The magistrate's inscription EMINAKO appears in the right field, written in Greek characters. |

| Reverse description | A large incuse square dominates the reverse, within which a four-spoked studded wheel is centrally placed. Four dolphins are arranged in rotational symmetry, each swimming counterclockwise between the spokes and around the wheel, their bodies following the circular composition. The deeply sunk incuse square and the wheel device are characteristic civic symbols of the Olbian monetary tradition. |
