| Obverse description | The enthroned deity Baaltars is depicted seated to the left, with his torso turned frontally; in his extended right hand he holds a lotus-tipped scepter, while his left hand grasps a chlamys at the waist. A grain ear and grape bunch appear to the left of the throne, referencing agricultural abundance, and the letter M is visible below the throne in the field, serving as a control mark. The composition reflects the syncretic Phoenicio-Persian artistic tradition characteristic of Cilician satrapal coinage of the fourth century BC. |

| Reverse description | A draped bust of Athena is portrayed facing slightly to the left, wearing a triple-crested Attic helmet, rendered in the refined Hellenistic style favored on Cilician satrapal issues. The portrait displays careful attention to the drapery folds at the shoulder and the decorative detail of the helmet. No legend or additional inscription appears in the field or exergue. The reverse type reflects the strong Greek cultural influence prevalent in Cilicia during the reign of the Macedonian satrap Balakros. |
