| Reverse description | A finely detailed kantharos-style amphora with volute handles occupies the center of the field, set on a low foot, with ribbed body rendered in careful relief. To the upper left of the vessel appears the Greek letter Alpha (Α), to the upper right Sigma (Σ), and to the lower left Omega (Ω); to the lower right, a pendant bunch of grapes serves as a secondary symbol. The entire design is contained within a circular incuse square, characteristic of Boeotian silver coinage of the fourth century BC. |
