Obverse description Diademed head of Asander facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with curling locks of hair elaborately dressed and secured beneath a royal diadem, the ties of which are visible behind the ear. The portrait displays a youthful, idealized physiognomy with clean-cut features characteristic of late Bosporan royal coinage. The neck is draped, and the bust is truncated at the base. The field is plain, with no surrounding legend.

Reverse description Nike, the winged goddess of victory, stands to the left atop the prow of a warship, her figure rendered in flowing robes in the Hellenistic tradition. She holds a long palm frond in her left hand, a symbol of triumph, while her raised right hand extends a wreath to crown the royal name inscribed in the field. The legend BAΣIΛEΩΣ AΣANΔPOY flanks the figure, and the regnal year numeral KΓ (year 23) appears in the inner left field.
