Reverse description Apollo Delphios depicted as a nude youthful figure, seated to the left upon the omphalos, rendered in the canonical Seleucid reverse type. In his extended right hand he tests the point of an arrow, while his left hand rests upon the tip of a grounded bow set to the right. The reverse field carries the royal legend BAΣIΛEΩΣ ANTIOXOY arranged around the figure. A delta monogram (∆) appears in the inner left field below the arrow, serving as a mint control mark identifying the Ai Khanoum (Bactria) workshop.
