Reverse description A Boeotian kantharos (wine vessel) shown in full face at center, its two volute handles flanking the body and a wreath or ivy cluster visible above the mouth. To the left of the kantharos appears the inscription AN, and to the right ΔP, together reading AN-ΔP as an abbreviation of the magistrate Androkleidas. The design is contained within a plain circular border on an unadorned field, executed in the clean, restrained style characteristic of Theban silver coinage of the early fourth century BC.
