Obverse description Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in fine Classical Greek style with idealized youthful features, slightly parted lips, and a large, elaborately detailed laurel wreath encircling the hair. The hair falls in thick, flowing curls behind the ear and neck, characteristic of the high-quality Amphipolitan die-cutting of this period. The portrait is set centrally within the plain field of the flan, with no surrounding legend or border.
