Reverse description Nike, goddess of victory, standing left in flowing robes, extending a victor's wreath forward in her right hand and holding a stylis (naval scepter) in her left hand. A trident head appears to the left of the figure in the field. The ethnic legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs vertically along the right side of the field, identifying the coin as an issue of Alexander. The composition is characteristic of the high Hellenistic style, with elegant rendering of the draped figure and outstretched wings.
