| Obverse description | Draped bust of Athena facing right, wearing a smooth Corinthian helmet pushed back on the head, revealing carefully rendered flowing hair cascading to the neck. The facial features are finely modelled in the late Classical Syracusan style, with a serene, idealized profile. A small control mark Θ (theta) appears in the left field behind the head. The overall composition fills the flan with accomplished relief work characteristic of the Agathoclean mint. |

| Reverse description | Pegasos in full flight to the left, depicted with powerfully outstretched wings rendered in detailed feather work and forelegs raised in a dynamic galloping pose. The musculature of the mythical winged horse is finely articulated in high relief. A thunderbolt appears in the lower field beneath the creature, serving as a control symbol. The composition is well-centred within the broad flan, reflecting the accomplished die-cutting tradition of Syracusan coinage under Agathokles. |
