| Obverse description | Pegasus in full flight to the left, rendered in vigorous high relief with wings fully extended upward and forelegs raised dynamically. The musculature of the winged horse is finely modelled in the characteristic Corinthian style. Below the body of Pegasus appears the archaic Corinthian letter koppa (Ϙ), serving as a civic control mark. The composition fills the flan with assured confidence, the figure set against a plain, unlettered field. |

| Reverse description | Helmeted head of Athena in left profile, wearing a Corinthian helmet pushed back on the crown of the head and adorned with a laurel wreath, with a pearl necklace visible at the neck. The portrait is rendered in refined, subtly modelled relief characteristic of the mature Corinthian die-cutting tradition. Below the chin appears the Greek letter alpha (A) as a secondary control mark, while behind the neck a bee is depicted in flight to the left, serving as an additional engraver's or magistrate's symbol. The field is otherwise plain, focusing attention on the finely detailed portraiture. |
