Obverse description Draped female head facing right, rendered in fine archaic-to-classical Cretan style. The effigy is adorned with a single pendant earring and a beaded necklace, with hair swept back and falling in loose locks behind the neck. The facial features are delicately modelled with a strong profile typical of Knossian coinage of the period. The field is plain, with no legend or inscription.
