| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena in right profile, rendered in fine high relief with carefully detailed features. The goddess wears a crested Corinthian helmet pushed back on her head, its tall plume swept dramatically to the left and decorated with incised striations. Long wavy locks of hair fall freely behind the neck, and a pearl earring is visible at the ear. The modeling of the face is accomplished and naturalistic, characteristic of the skilled Cilician die-engravers of the mid-fourth century BC. |

| Reverse description | A large, prominent bunch of grapes occupies the central field, rendered with individual berries and flanked by curling tendrils and a single leaf, symbolizing the agricultural wealth of the region. To the left stands a cantharus (two-handled drinking cup), accompanied by the inscription MOΣ. To the right, an owl is depicted with closed wings and head facing forward, a well-known emblem of Athena. The ethnic legend ΣOΛEΩN appears in the field, identifying the issuing city of Soloi in Cilicia. |
