| Obverse description | Armored warrior or horseman depicted in right-facing profile, mounted on a prancing horse moving to the right. The rider wears a crested Corinthian-style helmet and appears to be in active combat posture, with details of armor rendered in relief. The horse is shown in a vigorous, animated stance with raised foreleg, the musculature rendered in the bold, confident style characteristic of late 5th-century Cilician coinage.
