Reverse description A cow is depicted recumbent and facing right in the central field, a longstanding civic badge of the Euboian League referencing the etymological association of Euboia with cattle. Above the cow, a grape bunch on a vine flanked by two leaves serves as an additional regional symbol. The entire composition is enclosed within a deeply impressed incuse square, and the abbreviated ethnic inscription ΕΥΒ appears in Greek letters, likely in retrograde orientation.
