Obverse description Pegasus in flight to the left, with distinctly rendered feathered wings spread upward and curled bridle visible at the muzzle. The mythical winged horse is depicted with forelegs raised and extended forward, hind legs tucked beneath the body in a dynamic galloping posture. Fine detail is evident in the musculature of the body and the layered feathering of the wings. A small koppa symbol (Ϙ) appears in the lower left field beneath the figure, serving as a mint control mark characteristic of the Corinthian stater series.
