| Obverse description | Pegasos in full flight to the right, depicted in the Corinthian tradition with large, finely rendered spread wings and all four legs extended in a galloping posture. The winged horse is rendered in high relief with strong musculature, the head turned slightly upward. A small symbol or ornament appears above the horse's back near the withers. The flat lower field is largely blank, consistent with the standard Corinthian stater type adopted by Dyrrachion. |
