Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing left, rendered in fine archaic-classical style. The crested Attic helmet is richly ornamented with vine tendrils, an ivy leaf, and a crescent motif, reflecting the artistic sophistication characteristic of Lesbian coinage of the period. The facial features are rendered with careful attention, the neck truncated cleanly below the chin. The field is plain, with no legend present on the obverse.
