Obverse description Pegasus, the winged horse of Corinthian coinage, depicted in full flight to the left with wings spread and forelegs extended in a dynamic galloping posture. The musculature and feathering of the wings are rendered with fine detail characteristic of early fourth-century Corinthian die engraving. Beneath the body of Pegasus, in the lower field, appears the Corinthian civic badge koppa (Ϙ), serving as a mint identifier. The design occupies the full flan with the figure rendered in high relief against an unadorned field.

Reverse description Head of Athena facing left, wearing a Corinthian helmet pushed back on the head, with a prominent cheek guard and a large, smooth bowl-shaped Phrygian helmet visible to the right, partially overlapping the design in a characteristic Corinthian compositional arrangement. The goddess's facial features are finely modelled in the classical style, with curling locks of hair escaping beneath the helmet brim and falling at the neck. The head is set within a shallow incuse field, a hallmark of Corinthian stater reverses, without inscription or border. The overall execution reflects the accomplished die engraving tradition of the Corinthian mint in the early to mid-fourth century BC.
