| Obverse description | Two tunny fish rendered in high relief, depicted in profile swimming in opposite directions within a raised elliptical border, conveying the characteristic emblematic imagery of Kyzikos. The tunny (bluefin tuna) was the civic badge of Kyzikos and a symbol of the city's prosperity through the Black Sea fish trade.
