Obverse description Forepart of a winged boar advancing to the right, rendered in archaic relief with bold, stylized musculature. The creature's wings are spread upward along the upper field, and its tusked snout is prominently detailed. The design occupies the full flan in the characteristic early Rhodian archaic style, with the surface showing the irregular outline typical of hammered coinage of this period.

Reverse description Incuse square divided into four compartments by a broad incuse cross, within which a forepart of a boar is depicted in shallow relief. The retrograde inscription ΙΑΛVΣΙΟΝ appears along the upper portion of the incuse field, identifying the issuing city of Ialysos. The reverse is deeply impressed into the flan in the standard archaic incuse technique, with irregular but clearly defined quadripartite divisions characteristic of early Greek silver coinage.
