| Obverse description | Forepart of a boar advancing left in high relief, rendered in the archaic Greek style characteristic of early Lycian coinage. The animal is depicted with prominent ears, a bristled dorsal ridge, and powerful forelegs, conveying a sense of vigorous motion. A Lycian letter T (trident-like symbol) is incised on the boar's shoulder, serving as a dynastic or civic control mark. The flan is broad and irregular, typical of early hammered silver coinage from western Anatolia. No border or legend is present; the design fills the field entirely. |
