| Obverse description | Pegasus in full flight to the left, depicted with wings raised and spread, forelegs extended in a bounding posture. The winged horse is rendered in fine relief with carefully engraved feather detail on the wings and musculature on the body. The koppa symbol (Ϙ), the characteristic mint control mark of Corinth, appears below the figure in the lower field. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, consistent with Corinthian stater production of the period. |
