Reverse description A nude slinger strides vigorously to the right in dynamic pose, his right arm drawn back and extended forward in the act of releasing his sling, the weapon clearly visible above his head. A triskeles symbol — three running legs radiating from a central point — appears in the right field. The entire design is set within a beaded rectangular incuse border. The ethnic legend ΕΣΤϜΕΔΙΙΥΣ, reading as Aspendos in the local Pamphylian dialect, runs along the left side of the incuse square in archaic Greek letters.
