Obverse description Janiform head composed of a female nymph facing left, wearing a stephanos, conjoined with a bearded satyr facing right, rendered in archaic relief typical of Kyzikene electrum coinage. The two profiles are joined at the crown, forming a single bicephalic type characteristic of this series. Below the janiform heads, a tunny fish swims to the right, serving as the ethnic badge of Kyzikos and a recurrent symbol on its electrum issues. The style is bold and somewhat schematic, consistent with the archaizing artistic conventions of the late sixth to early fifth century BC.

Reverse description Plain quadripartite incuse square occupying the full reverse field, divided into four recessed compartments of roughly equal size by two perpendicular raised ridges meeting at the centre. The incuse is deeply struck and irregular in outline, consistent with the hammered technique standard for archaic Greek electrum coinage of this period. No legend, symbol, or additional device is present. The surface within each compartment shows characteristic flow lines from the striking process.
