| Obverse description | Forepart of a winged boar advancing to the left, rendered in bold archaic relief with finely engraved wing feathers depicted in parallel incised lines. The creature's muscular chest and tusked snout are clearly delineated, conveying a sense of powerful forward motion characteristic of early fifth-century Greek coinage from the Dodecanese region. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, as typical of hammered silver issues of this period. |

| Reverse description | Eagle's head facing right, set within a recessed incuse square with a beaded inner border, a hallmark of early archaic coinage technique. A decorative floral volute or scroll ornament appears in the upper right field of the incuse. The ethnic legend ΙΑΛΥΣΙΟΝ is inscribed below the eagle's head in archaic Greek characters. The overall composition is bold and deeply struck, consistent with the artistic conventions of Rhodian coinage of the early Classical period. |
