Obverse description Aphrodite seated left upon a throne or rock, her extended right hand presenting a patera; to her right stands Eros, nude, facing left, grasping the goddess's arm with his right hand while raising a wreath in his left. The composition is rendered in archaic Cilician style, with the letters IΣ (Σ retrograde) inscribed in the outer right field, likely serving as a magistrate's or engraver's mark. The figures are depicted in low relief characteristic of early fourth-century Cilician coinage.
