| Obverse description | The winged horse Pegasus depicted in full flight to the left, rendered with fine detail in the feathering of the large outstretched wing and the musculature of the body. The forelimbs are extended forward in a galloping posture, conveying dynamic motion. Below the body, in the left field, appears the Corinthian civic badge koppa (Ϙ), serving as a mint control mark. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, consistent with hand-struck Corinthian coinage of the period. |

| Reverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing left, wearing a Corinthian helmet pushed back on the head, with a finely rendered cheek guard and a small forelock visible at the brow. Curling locks of hair flow from beneath the helmet onto the neck. The letter alpha (A) appears in the lower left field below the chin, serving as a die-cutter's or magistrate's control mark. To the right of the neck, an astragalos (knucklebone) is placed as a secondary control symbol. The portrait is executed in the refined style characteristic of Corinthian die-engravers of the mid- to late fourth century BC. |
