Reverse description Incuse square punch divided into four quadrants by a raised cross, forming the characteristic quadripartite incuse pattern used on early electrum coinage of Kyzikos. The incuse recesses are of irregular depth, consistent with hand-struck hammered technique of the Archaic period. The raised dividing ridges meet at the center, with each quadrant showing a slightly sunken, roughly finished surface. No legend or secondary device is present; the reverse serves purely as the anvil impression typical of sixth- to fifth-century BC Asia Minor coinage.
