| Reverse description | A bull standing to the left in a dynamic, slightly lunging posture, rendered in fine high relief with careful attention to musculature. The animal is enclosed within a wreath of olive branches, its leaves and berries arranged in an elegant circular frame around the central device. Above the bull's back, the abbreviated ethnic legend ΦAIΣ is inscribed in archaic Greek characters. A row of dots separates the inner field from the wreath border, consistent with the artistic conventions of Cretan mint production of the fourth century BC. |
