Reverse description A slinger stands in right-facing stride, his body turned in profile with his right arm raised and drawn back as if releasing a projectile; he is depicted lightly draped. To the left of the figure runs the ethnic inscription ΕΣΤFΕΔΙΥ (reading Aspendos in archaic Greek script), and to the right appears a triskeles symbol. A sling or staff is depicted in the lower right field. The scene is enclosed within a beaded border, consistent with the standard Aspendian stater type.
