Obverse description Bareheaded male bust of the hunter Actaeon facing left, rendered in fine high relief with naturalistically detailed curling hair. A stag's antler protrudes from the forehead, serving as the mythological attribute identifying the figure. The facial features are classically idealized in the Greek tradition, with a well-defined profile, strong jaw, and softly modeled cheek. The flan is irregular, characteristic of the hand-struck coinage of Lampsakos. No legend or inscription appears in the field.
