| Obverse description | Facing lion's head turned to the right, rendered with fine archaic detail including a radiate mane, open jaws revealing teeth, and a prominent dotted collar around the neck. To the left of the head, two raised rectangular squares appear in the field, characteristic auxiliary devices of early Ionian electrum coinage. The entire design is set within a broad beaded border. The modelling is vigorous and naturalistic for the period, reflecting the high standard of Ionian die-engraving circa 500 BC. |

| Reverse description | Irregular incuse square punch divided into four quadrants by raised ridges, forming a quadripartite pattern with a distinctly uneven, granular surface texture within each compartment. The incuse is deeply struck and roughly finished, consistent with the primitive punch technique employed on early archaic electrum staters of western Anatolia. No inscription or device is present. The surrounding field displays the characteristic smooth, convex flange of a hammered flan. |
