Reverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing right, wearing a Corinthian helmet pushed back on the head, rendered in fine Classical style. To the right of the goddess, the ethnic inscription ΛOK identifies the issuing city of Lokroi Epizephyrioi. To the left of the head, a small eagle's head is depicted as an additional civic symbol. The design follows the standard Corinthian stater reverse type adopted by several cities of Magna Graecia.
