Obverse description Pegasus in full flight to right, rendered in high relief with outstretched wings and extended foreleg characteristic of the Corinthian bridle-horse type. The mythological winged horse is depicted with vigorous dynamism, its body occupying the full width of the flan. Beneath the body, in the lower field, appears the Corinthian control mark koppa (Ϙ), serving as the civic identifier of the mint. The composition is bold and well-centred, typical of early fourth-century Corinthian die-cutting.
