Reverse description Quadripartite incuse square divided into four equal recessed compartments by raised ridges, each section displaying a roughly textured surface. This standard mill-sail or windmill incuse pattern is characteristic of Kyzikene electrum staters throughout the archaic and classical periods, serving a functional role in verifying the metal content of the flan. The incuse is deeply struck and irregular in outline, consistent with hand-hammered coinage of the period.
