Obverse description Cow standing to the right in high relief, suckling a calf which stands beneath her facing left. The calf's head is turned upward toward the udder. Above the cow's back, a stylized dolphin or sea creature curves to the left within the field. The composition is rendered in a bold, archaic Greek style with strong three-dimensional modeling typical of Illyrian coinage of the period.
