Reverse description A stylized grape bunch suspended from a curving vine tendril occupies the central field, rendered in the compact, schematic manner typical of Solian civic coinage. The magistrate's monogram HP appears in the upper left field. The ethnic legend ΣOΛEΩN is disposed vertically along the right field, identifying the issuing city of Soloi in Greek characters. The overall composition is balanced within the irregular flan, consistent with hammered technique of the period.
