| Obverse description | Pegasus in full flight to the left, rendered in high relief with finely detailed feathered wings fully extended and three legs raised; the bridled head is turned slightly downward. The koppa (Ϙ), the archaic Greek letter serving as the mint control symbol for Corinth, appears below the body of Pegasus in the lower field. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, with a smooth, open field above the figure characteristic of the Corinthian stater series. |
