Obverse description Pegasos depicted in dynamic flight to the left, with large, finely detailed outstretched wings and all four legs extended in a galloping posture. The winged horse is rendered in high relief with careful attention to musculature and feather articulation, characteristic of the skilled Corinthian die-cutting tradition. The local city-letter Λ (Lambda), the civic monogram of Leukas, appears in the lower field beneath the creature's body. The overall composition fills the flan with considerable vigour and artistic confidence.
