| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing right, rendered in fine relief characteristic of late 5th-century Lycian coinage. The goddess wears a crested Attic helmet with a prominent bowl and cheek-guards, with visible hair locks falling below the helmet rim. The portrait displays strong die-engraving in the Greek tradition, with naturalistic facial features and a well-modeled profile. The flat, unadorned field surrounds the effigy on an irregularly flan typical of hammered silver production. No legend or inscription appears on the obverse. |
