Reverse description Within a shallow concave incuse circle, an amphora occupies the central field, flanked by the ethnic inscription EP to the left and XO to the right across the field. A single vertical wheat ear rises to the upper right of the amphora. The design elements are characteristic of Orchomenian coinage of the early fourth century BC, combining civic and agricultural symbolism within the standard Boeotian reverse format.
