Obverse description Apollo seated to right upon a rocky outcrop, his body shown in three-quarter view. In his left hand he cradles a kithara, while his right hand extends the plectrum. In the lower field, a tunny fish swims to the left, serving as the characteristic Kyzikene symbol. The style is characteristic of the refined engraving tradition of Kyzikos, with careful attention to anatomical detail and drapery folds.
