Obverse description Facing right, the laureate head of Hera rendered in archaic Greek style, her hair bound beneath a narrow stephanos decorated with a repeating palmette-and-lily ornamental motif. The goddess's features are rendered with fine engraving characteristic of the Elean mint, with delicate detailing around the headdress. The portrait occupies the full flan with no visible legend or exergue.

Reverse description An eagle, sacred to Zeus, depicted standing left in full profile with wings folded and head erect, enclosed within a circular olive wreath tied at the base with a decorative element. The wreath, rendered with naturalistically detailed leaves and tendrils, frames the entire field. The composition is bold and well-centered on the irregular flan, with no legend present, consistent with Elean coinage of the Olympiad series.
