Reverse description The reverse depicts a pioneer farmer kneeling in swampland, planting a sapling amid reeds and water, evoking early Zionist land reclamation. To the right, a settlement with a water tower is visible in the background, accompanied by a four-line Hebrew scriptural inscription. The legend 'I WILL REMEMBER THE COVENANT OF THEIR ANCESTORS' curves along the left and lower rim in relief, with the source citation 'LEVITICUS 26:45' inscribed in the lower exergue.
